Instructions for Speaker/Presenter Presentations
General Information
As there will be no presentation upload facility in the conference rooms, all presentations have to be uploaded in the Slide Preview Room on the 11th floor of the venue hotel prior to your presentation.Kindly hand in your presentation on a USB flash drive to our staff in the Slide Preview Room for it to be uploaded. It would be appreciated if you could do this at least 2 hours before your presentation time to ensure that the technicians have sufficient time to upload your presentations.
You can view your slides before you present at the Slide Preview Room. When you upload your presentation, our technical personnel will also check your presentation for compatibility and you will be given an opportunity for any last-minute modifications.
We would suggest that you arrive at least 20 minutes before the session begins in order to get acquainted with the operation of the podium and location of the equipment, and to meet the moderator/session chair. Please be seated at the front row of the room approximately ten (10) minutes before your presentation.

Screen for single projection
An LCD projection
A laser pointer
Time management during your talk
To ensure that the conference runs smoothly the three speaker slots will be timed as follows.
A staff member will hold up a “2 Minute” sign close to the end of your presentation and a “Time out” sign when your time is up. Please keep to time as people may wish to move between the parallel sessions.
Please note that
Universal fonts, such as Arial and Calibri, are preferable for the PowerPoint presentation as some computers may not be equipped with your favorite but non-universal fonts.
