MRS-THAILAND 2025

MRS-Thailand is a prestigious international conference series organized by the Materials Research Society of Thailand (MRS-Thailand). The 5th Materials Research Society of Thailand International Conference (MRS-Thailand 2025) is the fifth installment of this esteemed conference series, and it promises to be a landmark event. This year's conference will be held at The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam in Bangkok, Thailand, from 14-16 May 2025.

Past MRS-Thailand Events
The Materials Research Society of Thailand (MRS-Thailand) initiated its international conference series in 2017 with the inaugural event, the 1st MRS-Thailand International Conference (MRS-Thailand 2017) held in Chiang Mai, Thailand, from October 31st to November 3rd. This conference marked a significant step in strengthening the academic community within the materials science field and solidified the establishment of MRS-Thailand.

Building upon the success of the first conference, the 2nd MRS-Thailand International Conference (MRS-Thailand 2019) took place in Pattaya, Thailand, from July 10th to 12th , 2019. This event further expanded international recognition, attracting over 400 participants from around the world who shared knowledge and expertise.

Recognizing the growing impact of MRS-Thailand, the International Union of Materials Research Societies (IUMRS) partnered with MRS-Thailand to jointly organize the 21st IUMRS-International Conference in Asia (IUMRS-ICA 2020) and the 3rd MRS-Thailand International Conference in Chiang Mai, Thailand, from February 23rd to 26th, 2021. However, due to the unforeseen challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference had to transition to an online format. Despite these difficulties, the unwavering dedication of materials researchers worldwide ensured the successful execution of the event.

After enduring the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the 4th Materials Research Society of Thailand International Conference (MRS-Thailand 2023) was successfully held in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand, from February 28th to March 4th, 2023. The conference celebrated the resilience and growth of materials research in Thailand, marking a significant milestone with the inaugural announcement of the Outstanding Materials Researcher Award and Outstanding Young Materials Researcher Awards
